I attended the protest in front of the Hall of Justice in Los Angeles yesterday. After watching the coverage of some protests (meant to stay peaceful) I knew the scene could change quickly. Despite any concerns I knew I was where I was meant to be as I watched hundreds of people of all races walk toward city hall to protest racial injustices and call for action. As I walked people honked in support as they drove by. Others handed out water and snacks to protesters from their cars or the sidewalk. When I reached city hall I saw hundreds become thousands of people coming together peacefully to let their voices heard.
