Behind the Scenes: Farmer vs Carroll - Photos by Melina Pizano/Matchroom Boxing - 03/15/19

This time around instead of starting with notes, I listed any in parenthesis below the caption.

All photos taken Friday, March 15, 2019 at Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA.

Avery Sparrow gets his hand wrapped before his bout against Hank Lundy.

(Framing idea comes from Ed. It isn't always the easiest to get, but it's one of my favorites to change up the normal handwrapping shot.)

Raymond Ford tries to determine which style of shoe to wear for his professional debut.

(I watched a few of Cory's bouts on TV back in the day so it was cool to see him training Daniyar who won his fight that night.)
Luke "Coolhand" Campbell gets his hands wrapped before his bout.

(Campbell was quite possibly one of the first boxers I ever photographed in their dressing rooms, which was about 1 1/2 years ago.)

WBA/IBF lightweight champion Katie Taylor is all smiles before her bout against Rose Volante. Rose Volante keeps focused before her bout against WBA/IBF lightweight champion Katie Taylor. Gab Rosado warms up in his dressing room before his bout against Maciej Sulęcki. Maciej Sulęcki before his bout against Gab Rosado.

(I never ask boxers to pose. I try to be a fly on the wall in dressing rooms, but sometimes they pose on their own.)
