Saul "Canelo" Alvarez - Barstool Sports Shoot - Photos by Melina Pizano/Matchroom - 03/31/22

What a privilege to photograph one of the best pound-for-pound boxers and future hall of famer, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez. I don't take these opportunities for granted. As always I keep professional and focused to make the most creative content possible. On this day Matchroom and Barstool Sports visited Alvarez while in training camp ahead of his bout against Dmitry Bivol on Saturday, May 7, 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. 

When they told me Michael "Large" McCarthy of Barstool Sports was headed into the ring with Alvarez I immediately said, “Can I strap a GoPro with a chest mount on Large?” With no hesitation Large agreed.
