George Kambosos Jr. with Ring Belt - Photos by Melina Pizano/Matchroom - 12/03/21

After Kambosos Jr. got the win by split decision over Teofimo Lopez, Kambosos Jr. went on a media tour. Matchroom expected him to attend the Devin Haney versus Joseph Diaz bout the following Saturday, December 4th in Las Vegas. Matchroom U.S. lead photographer, Ed Mulholland, arranged for a portrait session with Kambosos Jr. wearing the trunks he wore during his bout with Lopez and the Ring belt (which we borrowed from another boxer.) I captured a few behind-the-scenes photos of the session. After Ed got what was needed I asked Kambosos Jr. if I could capture a few photos of him with his father, Jim. I love this set of images between the two. There's the moment where they both look at each other and you can just tell how proud Jim is of George.
