Canelo vs Jacobs Press Tour: L.A. - Photos by Melina Pizano/Matchroom Boxing - 03/04/19

This was the second event that I covered for Matchroom Boxing on my own. I took away a lot from the first event I covered earlier. I broke out of the shell and went back to doing what I've always known I need to do... look for different angles, use different lenses, and capture moments. Also a more quick turnaround. Since Jacobs and Alvarez didn't walk on the red carpet back-to-back I used that downtime to caption and submit quickly for Matchroom to use on social media. I was so excited at how this event came out that I called my mom to tell her. When I told her I asked Canelo for a photo (see below) she was so excited. (As if I hadn’t photographed him before. Hahaha) I could hear it in her voice how proud she was. I'm really feeling blessed to do what I love and make my family proud. A big thank you to Ed Mulholland & the Matchroom team for the continued opportunities!
