Behind the Scenes: GGG vs Derevyanchenko - Photos by Melina Pizano/Matchroom Boxing - 10/05/19

When covering behind the scenes sometimes you get an unlimited time for coverage and other times it's literally a few minutes, especially when it's a major fight. No matter the time limit I get what I can and more importantly what's needed. Media was given a short period of time in GGG's & Derevyanchenko's rooms. I tried my best to be a fly on the wall, as quiet as possible. Sometimes in quiet rooms even the shutter can be loud. If that's the case (even after switching to silent mode on the camera), I normally shoot with the quieter of my two camera bodies. I'm always grateful for the behind the scenes access because it's never required to be let in by the boxer or his team, it's always a privilege.
